Guðjón, or Gaui, is a good friend of mine. We have weekly meetings that consists of drinking coffee and making amature music videos. Last february on my birthday, Guðjón wanted to give me a party instead of a present. He, his wife Vigga, daughter Þóra and a few other friends made a buffet of food and drinks. After dinner Guðjón walked in the next room and got his guitar, sat down, and gave the party a private concert. I was in aw, and it was great! A few weeks later I asked him, over a steaming hot cup of Néscafé, if I could film him playing a few songs. He was hesitant at first but eventually came around. He is a great performer and a great guy…enjoy!

This is Halla Norðfjörð, a sweet girl with a beutiful voice. How this session happened?…well, I was originally going to film ET Tumason around Christmas, but he went to iceland for the holidays…so I asked him if he knew of any other musicians that might be nice to document. This guy is ET Tumason. The first time I saw him play was in a small bar in Copenhagen maybe 2 years ago. Me, Elliði and a small group of people ended up doing several encores in the restroom of the bar before getting thrown out long after closing time! He plays delta blues and I am an enormous fan, I hope you enjoy.

The first of many to come!
Here are the first two videos of many more to come. I’ll never claim to be a perfectionist, but as a filmmaker I do try. I have promised myself to upload everything I shoot, no matter if the shots are shaky, grainy, under/overexposed ect. I will do my best every time and what ever I get in the can is what I have to work with….one day, one take, thats it!. Being that how it is, this project is a learning process for me and in the long run will help me become a better filmmaker. I hope you enjoy the results as much as I enjoy filming and making them.
